PURLEY AND COULSDON CLUBS FOR THE ELDERLY
Where we meet

We meet in the Dorothy Mortby Centre in Lansdowne Road, Purley,
three times each week throughout the year, except on Bank Holidays.
The Centre is wheelchair-friendly and is fitted with a hearing loop.

The Centre is managed by a team of friendly volunteers
led by a part-time staff of Manager and Cook.
Club Days
Our regular weekly club days offer you a wide variety of stimulating activities and the opportunity to chat with friends, while enjoying a freshly-cooked lunch.

The Wednesday Club - 11:00 to 15:30
A relaxing day to catch up with friends with an activity in the afternoon, varying from bingo, a quiz,
craft, or chair aerobics.
The Thursday Club - 10:30 to 15:00
Today, members can participate in card games or dominoes, while others can follow their own pursuits.
After lunch, we gather together for one of our activities.
The Friday Club - 11:00 to 14:00
On Fridays we enjoy one of our many activities.
Activities

Members are encouraged to take an active part in planning
a diverse range of activities.
These include: craft sessions, discussions, bingo, quizzes, musical entertainment, exercise classes, fundraising, and talks by
interesting speakers, some from local organisations.
Outings and holidays

Throughout the year we organise outings to places of interest, using the club's minibus and cars, together with one accompanied annual holiday to a seaside destination.
